The Quest Classic - Dragon Jade serves as an expansion to The Quest Classic, transporting players into a meticulously hand-drawn and captivating realm brimming with thrilling obstacles. Upon activating the expansion, a plethora of fresh areas and missions become available for exploration. Notably, players without The Quest Classic in their possession can still indulge in the experience as a standalone game.
Set in Ancient China, the narrative unfolds with the August Personage of Jade summoning you to his Heavenly Palace to restore equilibrium to the world. Witnessing the disarray caused by the shattering of the Jade vase, which contained the delicate balance of Yin and Yang, instills an urgent mission. The mischievous Monkey King played a notable role in the chaos by dispersing the shards across Earth after witnessing dragons seizing them for their own gain. To rectify the mayhem, players, in tandem with the imprisoned Monkey King via telepathic connection, embark on a quest to retrieve the nine fractured pieces of the Jade vase and return them to their rightful place, thereby reinstating harmony.
Throughout the journey, adventurers will encounter an array of adversaries including Spectral Monks, sinuous lizards, ravenous tigers, as well as formidable dragons and demons dwelling in the vibrant landscape.
To access these new territories - provided one is not playing the expansion independently - players can venture to Matras harbor and engage with captain Verra to designate "Dragon Jade" as their desired destination. A prudent suggestion denotes preparing adequately by attaining at least level 21 before tackling the challenges wrought by this expansive addition.
